REGISTRATION AS A PODIATRIST IN B.C.

COLLEGE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Initial Registration

Registration with the College of Podiatric Surgeons of British Columbia is required before a person will be lawfully permitted to practice podiatric medicine in B.C.  All podiatrists practicing within the province must be registered and governed by the College, pursuant to the BC Health Professions Act.

Registration is a privilege and not a right; applicants must satisfy the College that they possess the qualifications and attributes required of a member of the profession.

See ‘Applying for Registration‘, to access the necessary information and forms for an application for initial registration.

Annual Registration Renewal

Registration must be renewed annually, by January 1 of each calendar year. See ‘Renewal of Registration’, to access the necessary forms for annual renewal of registration.
