DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE

DISCIPLINE HEARINGS

The Discipline Committee is a statutory Committee appointed by the Board and is responsible for conducting hearings on complaint matters that are sent by the Inquiry Committee to hearing.

With any hearing, the Committee may resolve the matter by a consent order prior to the end of the proceeding, or complete the hearing and reach a disposition that will be a dismissal or a finding that some or all of the allegations are proven. Pending the outcome of a serious allegation, the Committee may suspend or place limitations on a registrant’s license to practice.

The current members of the Committee are:

– Dr. David Brooks DPM, Chair

– Dr. Bert Mollica DPM

– TBD, public member of the Board

The Registrar and the Chair of the Board are ex-officio members of all committees.
